This is a very special auction- please read the description below in full before bidding.Vehicle Description:Complete running and driving 2000 XJR for sale .This car could be either a great project to fix up and enjoy or a very good parts car/donor car for another 2000-2003 XJR or 2000-2002 XKR Runs and drives well, decent body, overall good interior. Poor paint and body has some assorted dings/scrapes here and there. Relatively low miles for the year. Have no time to tinker with it. Has been sitting in storage and not driven regularly for approx 1 year. Project car- needs paint and misc other little things. Interior good- seats have good leather- driver seat has one minor split and car needs new headliner Starts immediately, idles well, drives straight and brakes straight. Tires are at approx 30% tread. The car has not been used regularly in at least a year so the new owner should plan, at minimum, to do a basic inspection (belts, hoses, etc.,.) and fluid changes before putting it back into daily use. No check engine light or other lights- note the pics of the instrument cluster (2). The first one is of the key on, engine off. The second one is with the key on, engine running. (Note- at the time of these pics, the car had just under a 1/4 tank of gas but on our steep driveway that shows up as near empty on the gauge and with the yellow low fuel warning light on. The gas gauge and warning light work perfectly under regular conditions.) Good project car to fix up and tinker with Or could also be a good engine/trans donor for another XJR or XKR Car is on California non-op (so no back reg or fees are due). The car comes with 1 original Jaguar key and 1 remote. High end audio and navigation- It is equipped with the optional higher end Jaguar audio system with optional navigation system and CD changer in the trunk Selling "AS IS, WHERE IS". No warranty of any kind. Please keep that in mind that this is a 19 year old car that is in generally good condition for its age but needs love. California Smog Testing- California buyers are responsible for any required smog testing including the cost of any and all repairs (if required) to pass California smog test. Sale is "AS IS". Car is completely standard and original- all emissions components are in place and appear to function properly, but that is the extent of seller's knowledge of them. The car successfully passed its last California smog test for registration renewal in June 2016 and has hardly been driven since. Located in San Jose/Los Gatos area (50 miles south of San Francisco). If you are local (San Francisco area) it could probably be driven home. Otherwise, plan on having it shipped. If the final bid is $1001 or higher, the California title will be provided to the buyer Wheels and Tires If final bid is $1600 or less, seller will keep the current wheels and tires (18” XJR- 4 on the car and 1 spare) and the buyer will provide his own wheels and tires to put on the car for transport to his location (or seller can assist buyer to find an inexpensive set of temporary wheels and tires, at buyer’s cost) Shipping Credit back to buyer Seller only wants $1850 for the car as it sits- nothing more.
